Ken Rose

Ken Rose began his sales career at Radio & Records in 1978. Rose was responsible for National Sales and production of the final product. R&R also leveraged Rose for his production skills in its entertainment division in 1981. Rose produced music, videos and programs for Stevie Nicks, Lionel Richie, Kansas, Toto, Coca Cola, The CMA. In the early 80's Rose was a staff Producer for Kenny Rogers NKR Productions and the Westwood One radio Network, producing syndicated radio programs. In 1985, Rose joined Mix magazine as Sales Manager and opened the Los Angeles office. In 1988, Rose co-founded Prosonus a digital audio production company. Prosonus had several divisions including Record Mastering, Audio for Motion Picture and Technical Products. Nominated for a TEC award for technical excellence Prosonus was considered the top producer and leading edge creator of digital audio products. Prosonus was one of the first independent digital mastering companies responsible for re-mastering artist catalogs including Jimi Hendrix, Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra and The Beach Boys. In 1992, Rose sold Prosonus and pursued his creative roots as an independent producer.

In 1993, Rose founded AFM. AFM began as a production company and were nominated for numerous awards including winning the prestigious Golden Ozzie award from Folio Magazine. Rose and AFM produced the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences' nominated, TJ Finds a Friend hosted by John Walsh of America's Most Wanted. The project was a fund-raiser for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. In 1996, Rose was involved in producing Alan Parsons' "On Air ", album and CD ROM. Rose also produced, directed and edited Alan Parsons' Fall Free video from the On Air project. In 2007, Rose co-produced Band from TV with Jeff Weber. The Band from TV lineup included a powerhouse of well-known and acclaimed actors. AFM merged creative production and business development creating a full service outlet for the creation of intellectual property.
For over 10 years AFM has been involved in business development and sponsorships for The Grammy Awards, The Critics' Choice Movie Awards, The American Film Institute, The Sundance Film Festival, and the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra among others. In addition, AFM has proudly represented The Directors Guild, The Motion Picture Editors Guild, Center Staging, The Latin Grammy Awards, RKO Pictures, MediaBuys, and The City of New Orleans.
